How we build our estimates
Every calculator shows its formula and assumptions on the page. Tax rates, thresholds and program rules come from official sources such as government tax authorities and the platforms’ own published terms, and each calculator lists its sources in a “Sources & methodology” section with the date it was last updated. We review figures when rules change, but rates and programs can change at any time, so always check the official source before making decisions.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, YouTube, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Grubhub, Instacart, Amazon, Stripe, PayPal or any government agency. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. The site is free to use and may be supported by advertising.
Important disclaimer
All results are estimates for educational purposes only. They are not financial, tax or legal advice and do not guarantee any payment or outcome. For decisions about your taxes or employment, consult a qualified professional.
